DANIELA BENITEZ

degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Alma College in Alma, Michigan. She then received a Masters
Degree in Multicultural Education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York. Mrs. Benitez’ experience focuses on international students, study
abroad programs, higher education and student affairs. Her role at Lead-Adventures
is in creating new programs that will appeal to potential volunteers.
ALICE MOORE
email: alice.moore[at]lead-adventures.com While studying at university in the United States, Alice Moore discovered she had a passion for Spanish. After much research, Alice decided to study abroad in Ecuador. She fearlessly jumped on an airplane and headed toward Ecuador leaving behind her simple, comfortable American lifestyle behind. In Ecuador, she became attached to this beautiful country as she rafted in the jungle of Tena, hiked down canyons and waterfalls in Banos, and explored the cannopied cloud forest of Mindo. Alice wants to help you connect with Ecuador the same way she did and introduce you to everything this beautiful country has to offer!
LUIS CALERO email: luis.calero[at]lead-adventures.com Mr. Calero holds a
B.S. in Marketing from Católica University in Quito. He also has obtained an English degree from Boston University. During his time in Boston, MA he worked as a
manager of a tourism business for two years. Now based back in Quito, but
with in-depth knowledge of all of Ecuador's countryside, he currently coordinates the
housing arrangements for Lead-Adventures. Luis Calero also is the joint director of
Housite Ecuador which provides accommodations for businesses and
independent travelers.

Mr. Ludena has an Engineering degree in Agro-Business from Universidad
San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador. Mr. Ludena has worked in the field of
tourism extensively for many years, focusing his efforts in the Andes region of Ecuador. His work
is dedicated to the daily communications with the volunteers, host
families, providers and in general all the logistics of the programs.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Fuentes has a B.A. in Hospitality Management from Universidad San Francisco de
Quito, Ecuador. Her experience is focused on international tourism, which was acquired
while working as a Lead Front Desk Agent, at the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. Her role
in Lead-Adventures is to coordinate our volunteers experience to the fullest and help institute new program MANAGEMENT TEAM:

a B.A. in Spanish and Literature at Universidad Central del Ecuador. He also
holds a Masters degree in Spanish with a focus on Second Language Learning. He
has broad experience as a Spanish Language professor. Luis Mena is currently
the Academic and Administrative Director of our partner Spanish School, Guayasamin, a
highly recognized institution in
Quito.
